Updates, updates, and moar updates.

NO, I DON'T WANT NO SCRUB
A SCRUB IS A GUY THAT CAN'T GET NO LOVE FROM KOAGEARS
LOL

I keep telling myself that I would update this blog regularly, but I end up being lazy and therefore, this blog gets no love update.

I've spent the day yesterday helping Kai out with her PS2. Since she had no TV, I had to give her my TVbox (In this case, it's just a YPbPr=>VGA converter) so she can play the PS2 on the monitor, albeit the horrible resolution. I got her to play a few mins of Odin Sphere just to get her accustomed to the controls, since not only is this her first time playing a PS2 game, it's her first time playing a PS2 in general. Since her mother needed to use the PC for the rest of the day, we ended up getting sent to Pacific Mall...near closing time too, so not much was done for the duration of the time spent there. I think I have to meet up with her again to give her yet another thing for the TVbox, particularly a wire that goes from the PC into the TVbox and a remote. Why? Because with those two together, she'll finally be able to use her PC and the PS2 at the same time without having to remove wires back and forth all the time.

Two days ago, Terry came by my place to hang out and whore my new computer chair played the hell out of Bayonetta to the point that he finally got 1000/1000 GS on his Gamertag. It was disappointing to find out later on that day that the copy of Oneechanbara VorteX that has been sitting in my cousin's house for months and months disappeared into thin air and no one was able to find it (This particularly affects Terry, since he likes that game a lot and he wanted to finish getting 1000/1000 on it). I guess we'd have to resort into getting a new copy. If that's even possible.

Now. I've spent the past week playing the hell out of a certain game by CAVE.

This game is great and it rapes me like none other (Mushihimesama Futari 1.5/Black Label is maybe an exception). I've bought the limited edition from Amiami simply because they were having a 50% off shipping event so EMS ended up being extremely cheap for me.

This is the faceplate that comes with the limited edition, and man, does it look nice.
I've been mostly playing the hell out of Black Label mode since it's the only mode that interests me a lot. Lots of bullet cancelling if using Kakusei, multiplying bullets while using Zetsu then going back to Normal and cancelling them for more points. It's a form of adrenaline rush I've never experienced before. This mode puts Risk=Reward like it's never been put before. However, thanks to this mode, it's so hard to go back into Arcade/Xbox360 mode because the pace feels a lot slower when playing them. As for Arrange mode, I have no opinion on it so far; I've only played it for 5 minutes and I don't get how the Kakusei/Zetsu concept works in this mode. I'll have to play it a bit more afterwards when I'm tired out from playing the hell out of Black Label.
