What's been going on for the past several days

Hello all. It's certainly been a while since I've written anything in here at all. I can pretty much say everything seems to be fine once again. I've certainly felt better since the funeral, so I'm pretty much ready to work productively again.

It's also been a pretty tiring weekend as well. On Friday, TK and I drove around the city at 8. We stopped by a burger joint called Golden Star just a little north from Yonge and Steeles. TK recommended I get something called 'Steak on a Kaiser' and it's pretty fucking amazing. It's exactly what you think it is. Steak on a kaiser bun. It was pretty expensive though (Steak on a kaiser + onion rings + a medium drink ate about $12 out of my wallet.) but still, it was a pretty good meal. Considering the somewhat high price, I don't know if I'm inclined to go back there. Maybe once in a blue moon. At 8:30, we pretty much drove all the way around Bathurst and Centre where Promenade is and from there, we went to go check out EB Games and the Wal-mart that was just around the corner. Even though there weren't anything noteworthy of buying, I talked TK into getting Xbox Live silver since he knew pretty much nothing about Xbox Live.

At 9:30, we pretty much spent half an hour looking for Roman since he mentioned he was at some school playing Badminton. It took us freaking half an hour to look for the goddamn school because 1) none of us knew where it was located and 2) we kept getting lost. Eventually, we did find it and we got to Lovegety around 10:15 ish. We didn't get to play as much there since it turns out G1 Leading Sire (The awesome game where you gamble on horses to win tokens) was under maintenance, so pretty much all I was able to play was either Strikers 1945 II, Wangan Midnight Maxitune3DX, Taiko no Tatsujin 11, and DMGFV5. We left after 3 hours of staying there and it was pretty damn tiring.

On Saturday, I headed to Pacific Mall so I can get the money from Jody to pay for the pixiv2009 artbooks currently being mailed out to me. I'm actually pretty glad I initiated a group order for these books though. I wanted to get one directly from amazon.co.jp, but shipping for one single book would net me about 3000円, and every additional book after that would only add 300円 to the total shipping cost. So Kai, Jody, two others and I pitched in to grab one each (along with a DVD Kai wanted). Shipping after 6 items only cost about 4500円, meaning 4500/6 = 750円 for fucking EMS shipping to Canada. Probably the best price to pay for EMS since it's insanely fast.

Yeah, I trailed off way too much there. So I was at Pacific Mall around 3pm to get the money from Jody (+2) to pay for the three books that are coming pretty soon. After that was done, she had to leave really soon so I just pretty much walked with her to the mall entrance, part ways and head to the arcade where everyone was already there ('sup, Eric, Jeff, Nelson, Ky, Calvin, Tito and shitloads of people whose name I don't remember at the moment). While I was there, I got to know another person named Lynn who happened to hang out at the arcade a lot. She's a pretty cool person. Maybe I should add the "and" in between pretty and cool. Either way.

Around 8pm, Lynn, Nelson, Tito and I headed to Lovegety to hang out there. While we were there, we ate at Takebashi (Japanese restaurant located literally next to Lovegety) and Lynn ended up getting a $12 plate that was pretty much nothing. We all felt bad that she ended up getting something so pricey that turned out to be so little, so we all sorta pitched in to pay for it. Apparently, the food I bought for myself cost me about 30 bucks. Fuckdamnit. After going back to Lovegety, we suddenly had a last-minute decision to head to McDonald's and get food there. More food. Hooray. It's bad enough I ate so fucking much. I must've spent about $50 on food alone that day. I'm not going to spare details about what happened at McD's. Just ate and went back to Lovegety. I mostly played Taiko no Tatsujin there (did I mention G1 Leading Sire was -still- under maintenance?) and I think Lynn's scared of me because of Taiko.

We were pretty much there until 11:30 and Tito was nice enough to drop me off at Don Mills station. I took the subway down to Yonge, hopped on the 84 to Downsview, and LUCKILY, I was at Downsview station in time to catch the VERY LAST TTC BUS @ 1:05AM.

There you have it, two nights of Gety in a row. Got home late for two nights in a row. I don't know how people manage to do this all the time. I sure can't stand it.

I spent most of Sunday sleeping. Go me.
